A dog must never be placed in a dirty run
Poop scoop — check every occupied run before moving any dog
Hose / gurney — 1–2× per week or visibly dirty. Shuffle or move dogs as needed
Before Consults  3:30pm Tue–Fri · 5pm Mon · Hard deadline

Skirting boards before mopping
Client areas swept & mopped — reception, waiting room, consult rooms, pet food retail room
Bins — empty and reline: surgery, blood machine station, office ×3, bathroom, laundry
Rolling — Throughout the Day

Kit packing — restock surgical kits as used
Autoclaving — run cycle when kits are scrubbed and packed
Laundry — keep rolling, pull dry, hang wet, next load on
Dishwashing — put away clean dishes and instruments when cycle done
After Last Surgery  Mon–Fri only

Do not soak instruments — scrub, rinse, dry towel only
Equipment wiped down — dental instruments, X-ray table, all surgical equipment
Instruments scrubbed — on dry towel overnight. Not soaked
Surgery & treatment areas — swept and mopped
End of Day Close  ~7pm Mon · ~5:30pm Tue–Fri · ~12pm Sat

Animals in — all brought in for the night, water provided and fed
Fridge — thaw food for kittens and puppies, labelled with patient name
Phones — Night Mode confirmed on display
Blood machine off
Dryer off
Aircon off — walk through every room and check
Computers off — except reception desktop
All doors locked — front, side, kennels, pet food room sliding door, chest freezer outside
Treatment board updated — ready for tomorrow
Group chat message sent — overnight count + tomorrow's start time
Close sign-off — name & time
