General rule: nurse-only slot only if vet has seen & signed off within 6 mo. Any longer gap, or new/restarted course → with vet.
Cartrophen: new/restart → first shot WITH VET (chat). Mid-course → nurse slot, check card.
Bravecto Quantum / Proheart SR-12: nurse only if seen <6 mo. Usually due with vaccination → book vet/vacc slot.
Cytopoint: new → consult + injection (20 min). Ongoing → 20-min consult. Charge depends on vet's findings — don't pre-quote injection-only.
Puppies: early socialisation protocol — course finishes as early as 12 weeks (vs 18) to allow earlier safe socialisation.
Adult (18mo+ dogs): 3-yearly parvo to avoid over-vaccination. Kennel cough + health check still yearly.
Health check + full C5 = $x (example wording).

Until then: confirm the scheme (Private / AWL / NDN / Rescue) before booking. Wrong scheme = wrong price.

Otherwise → free dental consult (offer even on the day) to confirm what we're doing.

No prior vet discussion → book a consultation, not direct surgery.
Once cleared: confirm fasting + admission time.
Euthanasia → longer quiet slot, calmer time of day. Alert vet/nurse, flag for sensitivity.

Scripts, clinical callbacks, referral letters, med requests = real vet work. Block them in the vet's column so they have allocated time. Don't let them get squeezed out.
